The Grom Grab was created by instructors, for instructors, and now it can be yours.
Young snowboarders have a very hard time using bindings and getting around the mountain. We needed a tool that allowed us to easily pull young riders around, no matter what type of snowboard they ride. The Grom Grab helps maximize ride time, while making learning easier and more fun for the rider and the teacher. It can be attached and removed instantly making it usable with more than just one youngster.
With only two moving parts, the Grom Grab has a simple, strong, and reliable design. It utilizes spring loaded cams that are coated in rubber to hold firmly onto the tip or tail of the board. Due to the special shape of the cams the harder you pull, the harder it grabs. The Grom Grab causes no damage to the snowboard and works in snowy conditions.
Designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. made with CNC machined aluminum, 3D printing, stainless steel and other top quality materials.

Instructions & Safety Information
⚠️ READ BEFORE USE
Snowboarding is fun.
Snowboarding also comes with real risks.
The Grom Grab is a learning and assistance tool designed to help adults guide young riders on flat ground. It does not make snowboarding safe and does not replace good judgment.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury.
WHAT IT DOES
The Grom Grab allows an adult to pull or guide a young snowboarder at walking speed on flat terrain.
That's it.
⚠️ It is not a braking device
⚠️ It is not a safety leash
⚠️ It is not a runaway-prevention device
⚠️ It is not a lift assist
If a rider can strap in and skate independently, they likely do not need this product.
HOW IT WORKS
The Grom Grab uses two rubber-coated opposing cams mounted inside a rigid U-shaped frame.
Slide the tool onto the snowboard tip or tail
Apply pulling force using the handle
The cams pivot and grip the board using friction
Reduced force may allow the device to release
More pull = more grip
No fiction = no grip
⚠️ Always assume the device could release at any time.
HOW TO USE
1. Brush snow, ice, and moisture off the snowboard
2. Push the Grom Grab onto the tip or tail of the board
3. Apply light tension to confirm grip
4. Walk and guide at walking speed only
⚠️ Use only on flat, controlled terrain.
HOW TO REMOVE
1. Hold the tool vertically
2. Place your thumb on top and fingers underneath
3. Gently squeeze and slide forward to press the levers and open the cams.
4. Remove from the board
Maintaining light tension on the cord can make removal easier.
Do not force the device.
CORD & HANDLE USE
Adult use only
Untuck the handle and allow the cord to self-unravel
Pull the cord through your hand until it stops at the frame
Attach to the snowboard
When finished:
Wrap the cord around the device
Tuck the handle into the frame
Store in a pocket or pack
⚠️ Do not allow children to play with the cord. Entanglement hazard.
CRITICAL SAFETY WARNINGS
⚠️ FLAT TERRAIN ONLY
Not for downhill riding. Not for speed control.
⚠️ REMOVE FOR LIFTS
Always remove before magic carpets or chairlifts.
⚠️ NOT A SAFETY DEVICE
This product will not stop a runaway snowboard.
⚠️ ASSUME POSSIBLE RELEASE
Do not use where accidental release would be unsafe.
⚠️ ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED
This tool must be operated by a responsible adult.
LIMITS
Maximum rider weight: 80 lb (36 kg)
Intended for young riders who still require assistance

CARE & INSPECTION

If cams or components are damaged, contact us for repair or replacement
Do not modify the product
FINAL WORD
Snowboarding involves inherent risk.
The Grom Grab is a tool — not a guarantee.
By using the Grom Grab, you accept and assume all risks associated with snowboarding and assisted movement.
Use it slow.
Use it smart.
Use it where it makes sense.
See you on the snow!
